Mane Taming 101 ๐Ÿ’‡๐Ÿฝ

Today is going to be a good day because today we’re talking hair care. Everyday, a woman walks into a salon requesting some outrageous color change to their stylist. Asking her to take their dark hair and magically make it blonde, silky and smooth. They show a picture to their stylist of someone like Beyoncรฉ, Jessica Burciaga, or Rita Ora with the expectations of the outcome being the same. Well, I’m sorry to burst anyone’s bubble but I have one word for you in most cases…. Unrealistic. Using bleach is a process and if misused can cause irreversible damage. Not to mention those celebs wear the most high end extensions and lace frontals ever. It’s all for entertainment folks!

So now here we are, your hair is damaged, dry and brittle where do we turn from here? There are tons of amazing products on the market for revitalizing damaged hair but I’m going to touch on one line imparticular that I stand behind. The Awapuhi Wild Ginger by Paul Mitchell.

The Awapuhi Wild Ginger line was created by John Paul Mitchell and released in 2010. Wild ginger extract optimizes moisture and the keratriplex protein transforms damaged dry hair into silky, radiant hair creating  91% smoother hair and 67% less frizz for up to 24 hours. Umm YES PLEASE. I’ve put this line to the test not just on clients but on myself as well. It hasn’t let me down yet!

One product imparticular from the line that I enjoy using constantly is the Styling Treatment Oil.

Treatment oil is super lightweight, quenches parched hair and eliminates frizz. Leaving the hair shiny and smooth. Stop at your local Paul Mitchell school today to purchase this amazing line of products. They can also be purchased at pro stores, salons and some items are available at Target stores!
